How does a town hall approach turn into filming a Night of Recovery?  Christopher Dreisbach wanted to find a way to share powerful stories to his communities.  He believed that compassionate and genuine vulnerability is what can heal us and bring people together.  In doing so, he created “A Night of Recovery” a documentary that features stories of wrestling stars.  Since then, he has traveled across many places to provide a safe space for people to connect to one another through shared experiences.  Chris joins this episode to talk about where this all started, the impact it has been having on communities, and his vision for what he wants to do and where he’s willing to go.

Christopher “Chris” Dreisbach faced early struggles with addiction despite growing up in a supportive home with strong values. After numerous rehab attempts and legal issues, a compassionate judge directed him to a long-term treatment program in Lititz, PA, marking a turning point.  In 2010, Chris identified a need for stable housing in the Lancaster recovery community and established A New Life Sober Living, LLC. In 2016, Chris fulfilled his dream by founding Blueprints for Addiction Recovery, Inc., a behavioral health treatment facility emphasizing evidence-based medicine and community recovery principles.  Chris remains a thought-leader, exploring new initiatives and partnerships throughout the county. He co-founded various enterprises, including a real estate investment company, a community art gallery, a wrestling academy, and a food service company, aiming to create opportunities for others. Currently, Chris hosts “A Night of Recovery: Live from the Moravian Center” a documentary featuring sobriety stories of wrestling stars.  It is available on Prime Video, Apple TV+, and Google Play. He is also set to host “Repurposed.”
